Another afternoon of less than steller production. I’ll make up for it this evening. After I finish some time on the treadmill. A bit chilly out for a late night walk.

I do know the cameras will come out this week with the weather improving. No not the one above, I’m guessing there isn’t much film left for them if any. I know they stopped making it long ago. Good old peel apart images.

If I’m lucky I’ll get out before sunrise a few days and catch some night shots. I might just throw the tripod in the car tonight before I walk out half asleep without it.

I’ve made a few assignments for myself. So we will see if we can come back to the newsroom with something the editor will be pleased with.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Right Now I’m listening to Van Halen’s “Right Now.”
  • Right now is the time I should be getting back to that pastel sketch.
  • Right now I just had a better idea, falling into my better half’s arms.
  • Right now I’m getting up and seeing what she thinks of that idea.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. Not cameras, but well, as weird as it may seem, i like old typewriters. Not the early word processors or electric ones but the honest to goodness hit down hard on a key and make an arm fly up and make a mark on some paper ones. I got to try one out a couple of years ago and was hooked. They just seemed so amazing and I’m gonna get one at some point!!! Not to write so much, but as a work of mechanical art. The one I got to try out was a work of beauty. Imagine having to write a document and be so precise and disciplined that you couldn’t just delete paragraphs afterwards bc you changed your mind.
