Another holiday weekend. A special one honoring our service members who gave their lives for the country. I’d be happy if that was the first thought of everyone in this country. But I doubt it is. And that is wrong.
This will be my 4th holiday this year that I’m not working. A benefit of retirement, that is very nice.
Unfortunately, I caught some virus that is kicking my behind so my celebrating might be put off another day or two. It was the reason I didn’t post but a few lines yesterday.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- Congrats to the Midshipmen of the US Naval Academy on their graduation today.
- Pen and ink draw a fine line.
- I’m sick of this justice system that has rules for the rich and another set for those without money.
- I bet the old Roman Empire believed they were the greatest and would be around forever. Maybe a lesson this country could consider before we go too far.
