This artist and I took a break today. Not that I don’t feel like putting some time in on it and probably will but the effort will be limited in time. Did a number of home/yard chores and some time with my granddaughter on top of a late night out with the boys last night and this guys is running on empty.
Maybe I’ll put in another hour or two and get an early start on Saturday. Then again some of the music that just came on is kind of inspiring, coupled with the volume increase with the headphones that I had to switch to because the better half is going to bed early.
I’m going to start tomorrow remembering an old friend who passed a few years back . A very important friend of my youth. One that helped me during some difficult times. We worked several jobs together, played a lot of ball together, graduated together. He loved the Orioles and I love the Yankees so we always were going back and forth.
I just remember a very warm, thoughtful, caring, smart and fun person who liked to smile and have a good time. I wish you were here to call and wish you a happy birthday. Rest easy Big Pete.
Next I’ll send a note to a very good friend wishing him a happy anniversary. And then it’s hitting the road early for some morning shooting. Maybe even before sunrise. Should be a brisk morning at that hour. The batteries are all charged in the cameras so I’m ready to rock. Till tomorrow.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- The printer is humming tonight.
- One of my friends is teasing me with shots of a good restaurant in Fenwick Deleware that he’s at.
- There seems to be a lot of chest-thumping talk going on. I wonder if the Def Leppard song “Too Late for Love” is going to be accurate.
- I just looked up and saw some wall space I haven’t filled.
- Rock and Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution. A statement song title.
