Goodbye May

The beautiful month of May is history. I feel like I’m gaining more appreciation for each day and that feels special. More good times to fit into the memory banks. I’m somewhat happy with the progress of the past month and the effort expended on my hobbies. I have grand expectations for this month of June so I better get moving on them.

The sun is out and there is not a cloud in sight, just a bright blue that is only dotted by a few cardinals and bluejays chasing each other.

I’ve completed the yard work for the day and think I’ll take some photos next.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • I’d like a cherry snowball today. And I know where to get one.
  • I was impressed and touched by Ken Burns’s commencement speech.
  • I see some hammock time in my future.
  • Looking forward to some help from my grandchildren tomorrow.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
