It’s great discovering the keys to life. Some are a little late but better late than never. I guess wisdom from many lessons along the way helps.
There are special keys to every day in the decisions we make. What do you spend your time doing, thinking about, communicating with, helping out, praying or hoping for, playing with, laughing with, loving with?
What do you spend your money on or save for? Where and how do you choose to live?
The health key is one I was careless with. I didn’t appreciate what I was given and abused myself at times in my life. Luckily most of that was short-lived. You have been given this key for life. If you, treat it roughly, leave it in dangerous places or situations, and don’t take care of it, one day it might no longer fit.
Some keys you didn’t know you had, open the door to the wonders of your children and family.
Sometimes others give you keys. Like my better half who helped me stop the crash course I was on with booze.
Today I’m feeling capable of much more. That is a special key that isn’t always within grasp. It’s a nice key and one not to be wasted.
I recently acquired a key to retirement, which opened a whole new set of doors to walk through and a big keyring to pick and choose.
Today’s key will be hard work and then some rest for an early start tomorrow.
Tomorrow might be picking the right key for the desert.
