Do I hear 100

Good day Howard County and beyond. I’ve been out a bit already and that heat was beating down strong early this morning. So be it, I’ve still got chores to do and an early start was essential. I hope to be done before it gets to the max temps.

OK, 2/3 of the mowing is complete. I’ll do the rest on Wednesday or Thursday. With this heat and drought, I haven’t cut in 2 1/2 weeks. Was long in spots and dormant in others.

I saw 99 degrees on the computer, I strolled past the Weather Channel and Baltimore was 104. I was downtown yesterday and it cooks on those city streets.

I hope to pack in a ton of activities in the next 2-3 months. Some of them are local like the Howard County Fair which takes place August 3-10. I hope to spend a few days there shooting that event.

The Ellicott City project I’ve been working on has some holes in it that I will be filling with some shots this week.

Well, time for an early dinner at Oscar’s Alehouse in Woodstock. If the rain holds off I’m going out shooting after the All-Star Game.

Have a great afternoon all.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
