It’s one of those late July days that if you aren’t in the water it’s tough outside. I was washing the car earlier and that felt good till I was finished. I wish I was back at the beach or in a pool.

Instead, I’m inland and stuck on dry surfaces like these beached horseshoe crabs. So, we make the best of it. Maybe a grandchild will roll by and squirt me with the hose. The word is more heat but with rain this week so I guess it’s the best of both worlds. I know we could use the rain here.

Grilling out soon and then maybe I’ll get the hammock out and lay in the shade before sunset a bit. Sundays are great.
