How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you? – The daily writing prompt becomes redundant again.
I’ve been answering these daily questions about myself for some time and nobody reading my post can see me. So go back a few daily prompts and read my rambles. I’m not into talking about myself this morning.
Maybe I’ll stroll down the path of how we perceive each other. We are complex things. How we perceive ourselves is often different than what others see. That is because their interactions and conversations are often limited in nature. Or what we show some, is different than others.
Like this task, expecting someone to describe themselves in this space is a small slice at best.
My opinion learns and grows as almost everyone does. Stages of life shift our definitions and priorities.
We seek to define each other when we are constantly changing and evolving. Even now in my senior years, I’ll add more aspects to my life that weren’t there before. I define myself differently than I did 7 months ago when I was still a working stiff.
In reality, we are just a mixture of everything. We are all different. But we are all linked very closely to one another. This connection exists no matter how stark the differences are to some.
Love and compassion for your fellow human being. It’s deep down in all of us. There is a small percentage focused on hate and greed, but those poor people were taught that at some point.
