I dropped by the Rally for the Wreaths car show at Turf Valley supporting Wreaths Across America and Veterans Cemeteries in Maryland this morning to practice my car photography. I believe it was their 3rd annual show.
I really should have spent a few hours but chores at home were waiting. I like trying to find unique things at shows to shoot. Be it the beautiful lines on a car or things you don’t see on every car.
The colors and contrast of styles and years are striking.
And even the size of vehicles varies. Just like those strolling the lot, young and old, black and white, and if I were to venture a guess Republicans and Democrats all enjoying the show.
I like the friendliness at the rally. No matter which one I attend, I seem to meet the nicest people.
I was surprised to see this in the lower lot. They are going to need more room if they want to expand it. But weekend golfers are the priority I guess. It used to be in the upper lot if I remember correctly.
Well, time to cut the grass if the battery in the mower is taking a charge. Plus I didn’t want to use all the shots in one post. Have a great afternoon.

I like that first shot. The blower (supercharger) looks like a machine gun!.

And that 4th picture with the yellow truck. The blue car is a Nissan Figaro. I didnt know any ever made it to America. Very rare bird.

Great pics! Next time forget cutting the grass, ok?

Thanks for the compliment and info on that Nissan. I was for sale and the woman in the picture was interested. If the grass would stop growing, I’d kindly forget about it.

That Nissan is an odd duck. Built in the 90s to look like an Italian car from the 50s. Lovely pastel colours, and chrome too.

I saw a few in Denmark when I visited family a couple years ago. I doubt I could fit in one of those, so hopefully that woman considering the purchase is a lightweight.
