One of the many wonderful cars from the Maryland Miata Club. I’ve missed a few monthly events but won’t miss the October meeting. I enjoy these events and meeting fellow drivers.
There are several parts of the club I haven’t gotten into yet but there is time. Such as Spirited drives, Autocross, and actual local race tracks. Of course I’ll need some modifications like a roll bar if I want to do that. There is also the monthly meet and swap meet.
This weekend (weather permitting) the group is going to a local car show in Maple Lawn. I hope to be part of the club that rolls in together.
A morning full of meaningful correspondences. Some important backups of data were completed. I’ve finished editing a full day of shooting from Harpers Ferry. The office has been picked up a bit and a workout is mostly complete except for some treadmill time.
I’m also planning a good night’s rest after some football and writing time.

- Fall and I are off to a poor start. Cold and rainy is not my idea of a good Monday.

- It’s been a very productive day so that new mindset is working so far.
- Thinking is good. Thinking about the right things is better.
- Every day of every job I’ve had for half a century has been filled with deadlines. I kind of turned them all off after retirement earlier this year. I’m starting to incorporate some again.
- It’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. Even with one that isn’t 100% anymore.
