If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to? – Interesting question from the daily writing prompt.

Okay, I would split some up between the charities I like. The V Foundation, American Cancer Society, Red Cross, The Maryland Food Bank, The Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Some towards supporting struggling Veterans. Some for a local animal rescue. Oh, I forget World Central Kitchen.

I always thought it would be fun to do that Secret Santa type action. Find people in need who are working hard and struggling at holiday time and throughout the year and make a difference for them and their children.

Maybe go to poorer neighborhoods, talk with the churches and merchants about the good people struggling and just randomly pay for peoples groceries. Or maybe some struggling with medical bills.

I think there is a saying about helping one person can have a snowball effect. So a million dollars would help a lot of people and maybe they would help a lot more.
