Is there such a thing as a free day? I was thinking I had one today, but that was short-lived. I worked on a couple of important letters this morning to my granddaughter and an old friend. One was fun and the other a little difficult.
We are trying to navigate our way around political differences and I’m trying to get him to leave politics out of it but with limited success. Such is life.
Some of my plans were put on hold due to the body not cooperating. So I spent the afternoon editing and writing along with some planning. I charged the batteries, did some reading and finally fought off the headache.
I saw a good question the other day that got me thinking. Where do I feel most centered and happy? And the answer is my basement office.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- Living with the beauty of Florida means risking losing everything. Nice place to visit, wouldn’t want to live there.
- I love the smell of cinnamon buns in the morning.
- I’m excited about the coming college basketball season and the University of Maryland’s team.
- A dinner date with my daughter brings a smile to my face.
- When I took typing in high school (yes it was a class) I didn’t realize it would be one of the most important skills I would use.
