Good start

Up early doing some writing and photo editing, got a plan for the day, and cranking the printer up, now that I’m inked up again.

It feels good to complete that editing on the Endless Summer photo project. I have some shots of Western Maryland to add to my Cumberland portfolio.

I found a few of these turntables still operate in the state. A list of surviving turntables in Maryland.

I’d like to get out and do some fall color shooting today. We will see how the day progresses.

Whoops, just checked my to-do list and found I have to edit and print shots from the family visit to the farm.

Also a few errands to run today so I’m glad I got moving around 3 am.

But the first order of business is to VOTE.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Almost time to think about hibernating again.
  • Voids in life aren’t good.
  • As age increases, tolerance fades.
  • Revelations about life can have profound changes in perspective.
  • I think I found the color I’ll paint my car next. I’m also going with a tan top when that is time. I never thought about it being my last car but it just might be. I hope to keep it running a good while longer. At least as long as it takes to teach my grandchildren how to drive a stick.
  • Basketball season is returning. Life is good.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
