I’ve got some momentum going and I just need to keep it rolling. I was reminded of it when I tried to fit into one of these and keep moving. After a step to get my timing, I was off. The key was consistency. Unless you want to pretend you’re ten and rolling inside a tire down a hill at breakneck speeds. And my old behind doesn’t even want to fall upside down in one of these.
Posting 2-3 times a day is a challenge I’m enjoying. I just have to bring some quality content into it now. I’m back to shooting more again so my pictures usually inspire some better thoughts.
This is the first year I could enjoy the fall trip to the farm for pumpkin picking and various farm entertainment. (Again, retirement is great) The wagon out to the pumpkin patch was full and I was about to walk back but the guy let me ride in the cab of the Case tractor with him. Been a long while since riding in the cab on a true farm implement.
Having the morning and afternoon with the family and then some lunch together with the topping of the day being our granddaughter spending the night was wonderful. Sunday I had a chance to rest a bit and recoup without a week of work looking me in the face.
This retirement gig is pretty cool. I loved my job at several stages of my career. I liked my job when I left it, but I love what I’m doing now. And that has made life much more pleasurable again.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- Critical decision on what camera to replace my old one with.
- Another beautiful sunny day. I should get outside and enjoy it.
- I think I’ll detail the interior of my car.
- Looking forward to a nice meal today.
