What a wonderful Wednesday! Exercise in some warm weather, a ride with the top down on the car, and a meal out. An evening of basketball and photograph work.
Photography Journey Day 6 – 11/6/2024
The new camera in hand and out I went. Boy do I need some time to get familiar with all these controls. And I look forward to spending that time learning and perfecting my skills with it.
I can already tell I’m going to need to use the tripod more. I’m also thinking about adding a monopod to the collection.
The weight of the new unit is somewhere between the old point and shoot and my DSLR D7100. It’s something I can carry on a long walk/hike.
This shot below is special because it looks so normal and I waited for it to look like this. I saw these two walking down the dock towards this bench. You might not pick up on it but that is a walking cane folded up next to her on the seat. The young lady looking at her smartphone had just assisted walking her down on this sunny day.
And though she is sight impaired, she seems to be the one enjoying this beautiful day but looking up at the building skyline and feeling the sun. I smiled when I shot this and I smiled when I came across it to edit it. For it reminds me to think beyond limitations that life may place on you and enjoy the moment.
This gentlemen reminds me it’s time for a lunch break. Or more appropriately a bite of breakfast.
But after that break there is no sitting on my ass today. I will be out and about testing aspect of my new toy.
