Decided to try my hand at something another blogger (thank you Sheree) kind of inspired me to do. To participate in a Thursdaydoors group. She puts so many beautiful doors up on Thursdays so here is my first shot at it. I shot this first one below yesterday. Others are a little older.

I’m not sure if I’ll be entering each week but it does help me keep my eyes open for another opportunity.

Not the best door shot below but it had elements I liked.

Reflection of the flag and buildings in the left side of the door and words Love All on the right side.

I’m going to have to watch how many things I’m adding to my list to shoot each week.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. Hello Mike. Welcome to Thursday Doors. I love that first door, and the others, especially the one with the reflection. I’m poking around your site a bit today, and I like what I see. You can come and go with Thursday Doors as often as you like. I hope to see more from you in the future.

  2. Great collection of doors! I hope you join Dan’s challenge again (I think you’ll find that it’s pretty easy to get addicted to interesting doors).

  3. Nice red door in the last photo with all the colors around it.

  4. The “Sorry, We’re Closed” sign in the top Doors photo had the effect of suddenly turning the doilies to cobwebs. I like the squiggly handle on the Hard Rock door.
