Chomping at the bit

I’ve been in the workroom each day chopping away at some wood. I’ve been trying to make that a daily habit as well as my photography.

Photography Journey Day 23 – 11/23/24

Uploaded over 200 images to the photo site. Probably edited another 50 or so. It was cold and windy and I’m still not 100% so I stayed in except for dinner at one of our local favorites (Oscars Ale House)

Those bits above and many more are the tools I like. Below is a set of manicure tools made with Mother of Pearl. The belonged to my Mother’s Mother. They have just been passed down in our family to yet another generation, so 4 and counting.

These were so beautiful I wanted to get a shot before they let the house. I know my Mom would be happy with them being passed along.

I should get moving on some editing. By my count I have 256 images remaining. I must watch myself getting trash happy when I’m tired. So let me light the other end of the candle and get to work.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
