Out and About

A good evening all, a busy day but productive one. Took the car in for service on a air bag recall notice. No fuss, no muss, in and out in 2 hours. Thank you, Catonsville Mazda and George. Did a few minutes shooting and then home for a bite to eat and out again for a haircut.

Howard County Photos of the Day – Given it’s the Holiday season I thought I’d try to capture some holiday spirit from both our merchants and homeowners. This one is from Main Street in Ellicott City of Sweet Elizabeth Jane storefront this morning.

I was up well before sunrise and looking for it but my morning appointment for the car made me abandon that hope for a shot, so I got this one of the fading moon and two planes crossing the sky above the horizon line before sunrise.

Oh crap, I see we have some rain in the forecast tonight. Out I go to put the cover on the car. I need a garage. That is the first thing I’m getting built if I hit the lottery. Oh, that’s right, you have to play to win, and I don’t.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Trying to remember to have proper posture. But after years of slacking in that area change is hard.
  • I miss having a pet.
  • A sad day in our country’s history today. Not the first and not the last. But certainly, one that could have been avoided if people did their job as effectively as those who defended the Capitol on January 6th.
  • Feeling good about the days work. And I have an evening to go.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
