Waking at 5:30 am is late for me. But that was the starting gun for today.
Photography Journey Day 33 Recap – 12/3/24
Another busy day distracted me from my camera. Some errands and chores along with some woodworking but little in new imaging efforts on Tuesday.
I finished boxing up several hundred old prints. And actually, when I looked at the new prints I had made for a few projects I realized the day wasn’t a total loss. It just feels like it when I don’t get any new shooting in.
Oh, I also went through another 200 slides from my parent’s collection. I’m just starting on a box that is filled with 16 slide trays all packed with images. I’m starting to run into more images from my father’s trip on Operation Deep Freeze.
I really must finish that project because I know my kids won’t know the significance of some images. I’m going to have trouble with some. If I could match some of the images with my father’s journals from WW2 , Korea and his trips to the poles that might be something.
I should have retired earlier.
