What would I do today

A free day except for a few chores and cooking later. But that is later. I passed out at the start of the MNF game and woke at 1:15 am. Now I’m wide awake and don’t feel like going to bed and looking at the ceiling.

Plus, I already turned on some inspirational music and we are Rocking & Rolling here at camp Woodstock. I’ll lift some weights to dissipate some of this energy that’s building. In the meantime, I’m continuing to upload images.

Around 5 am I thought I’d go get a few fog shots before sunrise. Those are below from Ellicott City. I caught a nap and now I’m ready to roll again. Not sure what I’ll shoot the rest of the day, but I will get out again.

I’ve got to force myself to get out each day. It’s pretty easy for me to become a homebody. And retirement even makes that easier.

I kind of like being out early in the morning before sunrise. Reminds me of old times when I was a nocturnal creature.

With the fog everything was a shade of grey, black or white. But every once in a while you can spot some color.

This morning it wasn’t too bad. About 41 degrees I think I saw on the dash. I’ll be dressing warmer later this week again it looks like. Mornings in the teens and 20s forecast.

All I know is that I have to live more in the moment and today has been a good use of that theory. But I have a lot of work to do on my fog photography. I think I’ll look for some examples for inspiration the next time it moistures up like it did today.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
