I’m trying to get a jump on things so I’m not leaving the summation of the year till tomorrow. Plus it’s going to be a busy day. I don’t have the time to review the photos I took this year and find my favorites. I’d rather spend the time trying to capture that new illusive image that I’ll always be searching for.
It’s been a great year. I’ve gotten to enjoy my family immensely. Being able to spend more time with friends. I’ve started down the road of pursuing my hobbies. The progress on home and yard projects picked up dramatically.
We ventured to some new and some favorite locations throughout the year. Put some new memories in the mental scrapbook.
I’m glad to wake up each day, even if it is due to a back spasm early in the morning. I’m glad that most around me are still here to enjoy the day.
I’ve been catching up with some old friends and making new ones.
I worked on learning to be happy more. It greatly improves the quality of life.
All aboard, time to exit 2024 tomorrow so might as well ride out in style.
More Random Thoughts of the Day
- Much respect to former President Jimmy Carter. Thank you for your service. Thank you for showing what a strong, and at the same time a compassionate human being can be.
- Matthews 1600 in Catonsville is on my list of Go-To favorites to eat.
- Tomorrow is going to be a long day and night. I’m yawning already.
- Some may not know it, but there is a line between a beautiful Xmas display of lights and something gawdy. And don’t forget, sometimes fewer can be better.
