This shot from my visit to Annapolis the other day made me think of my own son who will be having a daughter soon. Luckily, I have a daughter to share my heart with also. It’s hard to put those feelings into words that are adequate.

Sometimes a photo does help though, as these two below have arms tightly around each other, at the water’s edge, it’s that kind of trusting, secure embrace a father looks so forward to giving and getting.
