Good day Maryland and beyond. I’ll do my best to keep things civil today and dispense fair rulings on many subjects.
I’d like to commend the road crews out patching the numerous crater like potholes dotting our fine state. I thank you, my tires, rims and shocks, thank you.
Next on today’s docket. I see Howard County stepping up to support Federal workers. While job opportunities around here seem to be plentiful, I’m not sure the sudden volume of unemployed workers from the Federal side can find enough work.
The weather gets an unfavorable rating this morning with cool and cloud conditions blocking my sunrise. This is followed by clouds all day and a high of 56. FAIL.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I was listening to the Beatle song “Come Together” and ran across the cover of that by the band Godsmack. What a rocking cover.
- I don’t need artificial intelligence. I enjoy learning by experience.
- Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain says Fox to its viewers.
- There is a lot to learn about human nature. Because there are some sick individuals out here that keep pushing the envelope.

I feel very bad for the people caught up in this “you’re fired, wait, we didn’t mean to fire you, at least not yet / you can’t be fired by those people – circus that’s underway.” I was laid off once, very early in my career (back before it was fashionable) and it’s a time of great stress. This not how we should be treating people. Sorry to go on, so.

I’ve been involved in other companies buying us and having to reapply for my job. Also several downturns layoff or buyouts. What is happening to many dedicated, important and hard working Federal workers is just WRONG.
