I looked to my right, while having dinner with my better half last week at Harpoon Hanna’s in Fenwick Island Delaware and saw this colorful display. I’ve always liked this restaurant. It was a great meal. I had a Fillet and Crab Cake. Treated myself.

I’m working on a much simpler wall piece for my side deck area that used to be a pool. I saw our neighbors across the street getting their pool and deck area redone. Pools can be a ton of work. Glad that is off my daily chore list.

Hope to make the best of a dreary weather week ahead. I’m going to have to cram some outdoor chores into the next two days because they are the only ones the sun will be out. It’s time for the first cut of the year. It’s going to be a tough one with the push mower so a trip to the tractor store is also going to be on the agenda.

I’ve also got to stop by a local mower repair shop and see he much they might give me for the old tractor.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Short sighted leadership equals long term pain.
  • Teams win championships.
  • Children make me forget about the children in authority now.
  • Grandchildren give the best surprise hugs.
  • RFK Jr going to the child who died of measles is a sad irony. I wonder how many more funerals he is willing to attend because there could be more on his hands.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
