Monday is a wrap

I had the best lunch ever with my daughter today at one of our favorites, RockSalt Grille. And a lovely walk around the town of Westminster after that.

I couldn’t be prouder of my children. The talk was the best. It’s so rare we get the one-on-one time where it wasn’t rushed with one of us or both having to go somewhere, or she wasn’t tired from having worked all day.

Between this afternoon and the car meet I probably shot over 150 frames. The club meeting gave me a chance to practice my photography and meet some new people. Actually met 3 first timers. I just edited and posted 59 pictures I shot on our FaceBook group.

And no, the car below is not part of the Miata group. I was peeking between buildings and caught a glimpse of this and had to come around to see this work of art.

It probably needed a paint job anyway. I hope they didn’t use watercolor. Photo by Mike Hartley

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Tomorrow is more work than play, see I’m trying to bring balance to the universe.
  • I decided not to listen to one falsehood today. Feels pretty good.
  • The attic calls me tomorrow.
  • I didn’t get the cover on the car in time before the rain.
  • I can see tough times ahead. I guess it’s good we have some previous experience.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
