Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you. – A good question from the daily writing prompt.
We recently met a man, slightly older, as we were standing along the inlet in Ocean City MD. My better half and I were just admiring the beauty as he was, and he spoke up about it. Also, about how to appreciate the time and take in life.
He then spoke about some health challenges he was battling and had faced. Some were exactly like mine. He was positive and relaxed. At peace with himself and the world it seems. He seemed to have a grasp on life and making the best of a tough situation. We had a wonderful conversation with a stranger for a good period of time.
Both my better half and I thought it was a very interesting meeting and conversation. We spoke about it afterword’s, that it was uplifting and eerie at the same time.
