Actually, I envy this man. Living in a small town and having the ease of riding around on one of these bikes. Caught him on the streets of Easton Maryland late afternoon.
I’ve always liked the eastern shore of Maryland but I’m falling more and more in love with it. And this summer it will be a common destination for the Miata and I to cruise and explore.
Envy is something I don’t spend a lot of time on, but I can’t say I’m without it at moments in my life. I try to stay busy appreciating all I have and building on that.
Usually, it’s just a moment. About 10 minutes before I saw this rider above, I passed this Vette parked on the street. Of course, I paused because I love automobiles. It’s a convertible, 2 seater, sporty and handles well along with some get up and go. So right up my alley.
Nice but I don’t need the tickets and attention. Nor do I want to risk the high speed runs I’d have to feel it do. I can probably buy 3 of my Miata’s for the price of this one. And so far, that fun machine with the manual transmission has satisfied my motoring needs.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I had a great evening with some friends. And one fixed great Rueben sandwiches for dinner. Nice way to start a week.

- I have a lot of productive ideas. Now I’ll have to see if I have a lot of productive follow-through today.
- I opened the work shed earlier than usual today. I’m coming for you Mother Nature.
- I’ve seen my buddy “Box Turtle” more in the last few weeks than in the last year or two. I wish he would make an appearance when the grandkids are here.
