What bothers you and why? – Not a positive question to start the day off with from the daily writing prompt.

On a good day, not much bothers me. I hope to have a lot of good days in the future. Spending time on things that bother me takes my focus away from things I love and cherish.

But off the top of my head, early this morning the following thoughts bother me.

• Liars – It seems not to bother many, but it does me. Truth matters.
• Stubbing my toe on a chair leg. Pain obviously.
• People who lack compassion, respect, manners, empathy. If you need a why you may be one.
• Cable companies – need I say more.
• War – needless, senseless death.
• That I haven’t always used time wisely. Time is finite.
• Bird crap on the car I just washed. Like I said I just washed it.
• People who look down on others. Most of them don’t realize they are too small to do that.
• Getting more forget full. I forgot why.
• Bad drivers – because they kill, injure and maim people needlessly.
• Not having enough wall space for the photos, I take. I guess I make too many prints.
• Selfishness and greed – because it’s ugly and causes suffering.

I could have gone on about the dictator and his clown show but that is another post for another day.
