Where did the week go

Time has flown by this week. Which is pretty much par for the course. I do feel a bit different though. I’m more focused and feeling more creative.

Now that the rains have stopped, I resumed my battle with Mother Nature yesterday. I was bent over and carried a few heavy objects today that I should have put in the wheelbarrow. Round 1 to Mother Nature.

I’m always excited for my daughter when she starts a new school year of teaching. I know she puts so much into it. So, to my daughter, and all teachers returning to the classrooms, I wish for your safety, health, patience, perseverance, strength and rewarding days with the children and pleasant meetings with the parents and administrations that have your back. Best of luck in this new school year. You are making a positive difference in this world.

I will do my best not to let errands, chores and tasks keep me from having a little fun this weekend. I’m headed out to a local car show this morning.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
