The wheels are turning in my head again and it feels good. I’ve had some good ideas and have started working on them. I’m also getting better at doing things instead of talking about them.

Some wheels don’t have to turn at high speeds because they are constantly rotating. I’ve been slack on keeping my creative wheels turning on regular basis. I’m on a mission to change that and this week was a great start.

I’m working on a shell necklace for my granddaughter. Also spent some time sanding a few pieces and working on my photography. And I hope to make good use of this fine but cloudy Sunday.

Hoping your Sunday is a fine and happy one.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • I better start writing these memories down before they are gone.
  • It’s sad that sports won’t have the same meaning too much of our youth as it did to my generation. Gambling has not made it a game any longer.
  • Spend time learning instead of regretting time wasted previously not learning.
  • I just looked at two flower pictures I have framed. They were favorites of my Mother-in-law because they were from her garden. When I see gardens, I think of both of my mothers.
  • Donated yesterday. I hope to make that more common practice.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
