Some paint jobs stop me in my tracks. This was one of them.

Monday was productive on the chore front but lacking in the fun area. Maybe I’ll cure that imbalance today.

Our granddaughter will be here for a visit shortly. That will be fun. I’ve been missing her, and this will be a nice treat before she starts school next week. They grow up so fast. I think I remember saying that a while back about my own children.

Today’s focus in between chores and playing games with a 6-year-old, will be on making prints and building the photo site out. I have a little over 10K images there now. I hope to double that and organize it before the end of the year. It will be a good day to get the camera out and capture some new shots.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Children’s smiles are genuine. Not always the case with adults.
  • Do you know your neighbors?
  • For a time, the bathroom scale and I were not friends. Now we speak daily.
  • Exercise should be like eating, natural and done each day.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
