The daily writing prompt wants me to – Interview someone, a friend, another blogger, your mother, the mailman and write a post based on their responses.

Just like last year when this question was asked and answered in a post I did called – Tough Assignment -the same is true this morning.

I had an idea in that post about going back and catching up with people who worked at a very special company for years. A local newspaper chain that was a group of inspired young individuals who pulled together and did some remarkable work.

Hundreds still touch base and get together in a Facebook group. Many of us still gather for meetings and meals despite many miles between us. Some lifelong friendships were formed there and still go strong today. Like one of my best friends.

So let me get back to work on developing that idea and spreading the word to old-timers before we aren’t around any longer.
