This is going to be a different week for me. I hope to push myself more in several areas and challenge myself.

I’ve fallen into a relaxed mindset this summer. Not that I haven’t worked hard, just not at the hobbies that are important to me as much as I should have.

I don’t mind that I did that. Maybe I needed a mental refresh. And I did have that thought looking up at the sky from the hammock yesterday, but at the same time I bolted up from it 15 minutes later and felt the need to get to work.

It’s not that I stopped shooting or writing. I even did more carving than I had in a bit. But drawing and painting went nowhere.

I’m also going to increase the workout.

But first some breakfast and taking the blinders off so I can get a grip on the day.

I believe these horses are on the fields of Tara Equestrian Events along Old Frederick Road just west of Rt 32.
