Life is great when you have time to play. The sun wasn’t up yet, so I thought I’d brighten things up.
Next, I thought I’d better get moving and brush up on some carving skills. So, I got to work there carefully trimming some details into a wood carving of a shell. Also working on a series of dolphins swimming together.
Last week I started etching and carving into seashells which I wasn’t aware of needing to take some extra precautions from the dust.
I need to go get a few pumpkins this week and start painting them. One for each of my kid’s families. I’m looking forward to trying a few scary designs I saw.
Tomorrow I’ll start capturing Halloween decorations around the area and share them here being it’s the kickoff to that season.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- My smile doesn’t get much bigger than when I get a note from my children. Unless it’s a visit.
- Some pick up a lot of wisdom with age. But with that, comes more questions.
- Working in sculpting isn’t as natural for me. But it’s kind of fun.
