Time with the grandchildren yesterday was special. The one grandchild I didn’t get a chance to see, I wrote a letter to. I’m so happy to be part of their lives. They are in my mind along with my own children, most of every day.

Children keep me flowing smoothly in life now. With so much chaos all around us each day the kids keep me grounded and focused on a good future. Or at least hopeful for a good one for them.

Speaking of hope, the baseball season is still alive for me this year. It’s been an up and down year for a lot of teams, even the best ones. But the cream seems to be rising to the top and there is already some outstanding efforts and plays being made. The game moving faster has made a huge difference for my viewing enjoyment.

The Peanuts group turned 75 yesterday. One of my favorite characters and the name of the town I live in.

Random Thoughts on a Friday Morning

  • I’m going to get the firepit going this evening.
  • Good day to turn the TV off.
  • I’m tickled that my grandchildren like when I run up the street beside their car when they leave.
  • Lied in the past, lying to you now, and will lie to you in the future.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
