I believe the saying goes “I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it” if memory serves me correctly. It’s not a bad guideline to follow at times. Unless you intend to cross a drawbridge, then timing is important.

Got some cardio pushing a mower, raking and moving some wood. I have no problem keeping active in the summer, spring and fall. It’s winter that kills me. I’m like a bear and I’m inclined to hibernate.

Today washing the cars and some power washing are on the agenda. Might visit a local landscape show.

Unless we get lucky later in October, today and tomorrow might be one of the last 80-degree days of the year. So, I’m going to be outside enjoying it and soaking up some sun. And then finish the day around the firepit relaxing and hopefully enjoying the Yankee victory from this afternoon.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • My first good night’s sleep in weeks.
  • There are few things better in life than hearing your better half say medical test results were good.
  • Woodworking is fulfilling because it’s so easy to see progress.
  • To say I have an issue with the current administration would be the understatement of the year.
  • I think I’ll call my children today.
  • I’m holding down the fort. My best friends are both out of town.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
