Mid week wishes

The more I do, the better I feel. And Wednesday was one of those days. In some ways very productive, and others very relaxing. What a combination. I hope it continues into this fine Thursday.

I’ve been thinking a lot about my children today and their careers. That it’s only the middle of their workweek and how tired they probably are. I remember my 30s and 40s and the pressures of work and family. I hope all you working stiffs can hold on just a little longer, for the weekend is near.

I guess this is the last rose I’ll be seeing till the springtime.

My summer started late start and ended early. So, I’m expecting a very mild winter to balance things out or I’m going to be rather cranky when it doesn’t.

This weekend it’s time to get a few pumpkins and I’ll head up to our local spot and pick up a few and get a snowball while I’m looking them over.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Smiling, not so easy all the time but keep trying.
  • Well, my baseball season came to an end this evening.
  • I see Nobel Peace Prize being awarded on Friday. Please don’t tell me the world is completely upside down. I’m not sure I could handle the news if it’s the person who begs for one, wins.
  • Feeling relaxed this morning.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
