Wet Paint

I hope to do a little work at the easel this fine Wednesday. So, I guess I should put up my own “Wet Paint” signs.

A little work with some watercolor is in order today. I’m not sure I’d call it work yet. More like trying to remember some techniques I knew and forgot long ago. Maybe it will be like riding a bike. Maybe not.

I’ve never worked with acrylic or oils. Could be a future interest if the brush work appeals to me again.

What got me inspired again was seeing some pieces by an old co-worker Robert Lewis, who does some beautiful work.

Random Thoughts of the Morning

  • I wish the rain would wash away the current administration.
  • Making wise decisions would seem like a wise move. Till we mix in human nature and screw it all up.
  • At the end of some days, I think there’s a bunch of Unwanted Posters, with my picture on it, that I somehow missed seeing but not feeling.
  • Another chance approaching to see if I can remember turn the wall calendars on the right day.
  • Having multiple professions in the future might be needed. If AI takes one, you have a backup.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
