My nephew is a surfer. I’ve never picked it up myself. Sometimes I feel the equivalent of it when driving my go-cart on some back roads. It’s important to have something you connect with. Skateboarding as a youth was great. Spent some time on a board on the hills in and around the neighborhood.

Riding a motorcycle was a bit like surfing. Choosing your line, angle and lean.
This has got me inspired to go out and put some miles on with the top down yesterday. I go out and the car is covered in moisture after daybreak. We have 91% humidity and a dew point of 73. It’s sticky out. I wipe it down anyway and 5 minutes later it’s wet again. I don’t want to put the top down when it’s wet, so I waited for Mr. Sunshine.
That was a hot ride. 88 when I left and 94 when I returned an hour later. It was fun though. Though there were a good number of people not paying attention to what they were supposed to be doing like DRIVING.
The only comfortable spot outside yesterday and today is getting into the water and staying there.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- People are still not pulling over for emergency vehicles. I don’t understand how they can be so selfish.
- Will it cool off enough to for me to mow the lower back later.
- I read where we will soon surpass the number of measles cases of all last year. Thank you very little to our MORON RFK Jr and the rest of the paranoid anti-vax supporters.
- Now it’s just a matter if the military and law enforcement will be directed against our own citizens and their reaction to the orders.
