This was a nice sculpture I saw at the National Harbor. I love the strength it projects. And what I wouldn’t give to see some blue sky today. This ugly weather pattern is getting depressing.
I wish it was easier for me to work in 3D. Probably because I don’t practice it enough. Even though I’ve picked up productivity in other areas, this one has been slow. I did some sanding on a dolphin I’m making for my granddaughter. That and a project for my son I should finish this month.

I crashed early last night so I woke at midnight. The headphones are on I’m editing some shooting from the holiday weekend and uploading that to the photo sight. Also did some writing so it’s been a productive morning.
The mission has started for the second half of the year. Changing mindset and schedule. I started a transition in June and I’m off to a good start in July.
- Less time on the phone and in front of the idiot box (TV). More exercise. More reading.
- Trying to upload new images each day to the photo site.
- Get in my workroom every day.
- Photograph each day.
- Make a few display prints each day.
- Paint or draw each day. (a slack start on this but I have put in a little time)
- Try to keep my office clean. (a losing battle)
Random Thoughts of the Day
- Will the majority start pulling in the same direction again?
- Music is JOYOUS and Inspirational. But there are a few songs that cause me to pause and shed a tear.
- Trump is a national embarrassment and a stain on our history. The unfortunate thing is he isn’t done yet.
- I’d like to get my hands on the throat of the people who make these automated phone systems for businesses.
- I’ve noticed I get a little edgy when I don’t get to drive my fun machine for a few days.
- Today I pull the trigger on the new mower purchase.
- I bet people watching me trying to get out of my Miata think I may have had a drink or two as I kind of roll out of it.
