Sunday’s roll of the dice

The month of July is going by so fast for me that I can’t believe we are past mid-month already. Another busy day ahead so getting an early start is key. Got some cleanup from those storms that rolled through yesterday and the yard needs cutting.

Close-up of the interior of a vintage car featuring a red and white dashboard, steering wheel, and vintage-style gauges, with fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror.

It always feels good when I put the hammock outside again after a storm which I just did. That means it’s going to be a nice day and if I get lucky, I might lay in it for a few minutes.

I’m guessing lots of car shows were cancelled or postponed yesterday. So today I hope to see some of you out sporting your clean ride as I take a cruise for a few minutes sometime between chores.

When I got out of the shower this morning, I looked in the mirror and the song, A Touch of Grey by the Grateful Dead came to mind. And then I remembered the chorus.

I will get by
I will get by
I will get by
I will survive

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • When you see a beautiful stretch of weather forecast it’s a good idea to make some plan to be out in it.
  • Sometimes instrumental songs still speak to me.
  • Ants are industrial little suckers.
  • When you get older, the days you don’t think or give a crap about your age are nice.
