This isn’t me, but I do feel like I’m having problems keeping my sail out of the water. And to be honest that was my thought as I was snapping the shot because I saw them struggling for a few minutes.

Searching for the right angle and wind direction is a challenge for life. And getting the ship righted and sailing again takes a lot of effort. Choosing to keep trying is refusing to be defeated.

So today, we try again and again.

• I might try another week without TV.
• The forecast for tomorrow is to my liking.
• Daily desk calendars remind me constantly of how fast time moves. But I’ll never get enough of The Far Side.
