One of these years

One of these years I’m going to stay at a place that takes this body back and forth to and from the beach. So, all I have to do is unfold my chair and towel.

I say this jealously because I’ve played pack mule for decades with my own children and now my grandchildren. I don’t mind it, I’m glad to do it for them. I’m so fortunate that they can spend the time with us.

One day I may have to turn over the heavy stuff to my son and daughter. And that day might be coming sooner than later.

Maybe one day, the golf cart ride. I did enjoy the parade of people taking this one afternoon. Lots of young people, who should be walking because it’s not that far from the hotel. Sorry, the old man attitude sneaked out. More power to them.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
