Just covered the car and putting the umbrella and cushions in before the line of storms rolls through. And thought I’d better do another post before possible power issues. I spent a little time catching up on some rest. But if the electricity stays on, I’ll be posting away.

I had planned on going for a ride because I thought the storms would hold off till this evening. Tomorrow I won’t make that mistake and I’ll head out early.

The beaches might have a few hours, but beach patrol better be ready for this line of weather.

I’ve got to admit, I’m not as prepared as I’d like to be for a protracted storm outage or other emergency. I’m going to try to remedy some of the shortcomings this year. I’ve got to get the generator up and tested. Also, a mounted area for it for extended use. Then I have to increase the fuel I keep onsite.

Next is to up our food and water supply. And then getting our electrical panel upgraded so I can switch our well pump on in a power outage. I can handle the heat in an outage but cold is another thing and I must get a better plan for this other than a fireplace and a couple of space heaters.

The TV is beeping with weather warnings, and the lights just flickered some offline I go for a bit.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
