History scrubbing

If you could erase one event from history, what would it be? – Asks the daily prompt.

My first thought was to erase World War II. I believe that war caused the greatest loss of life and the most suffering seen on earth. I might have grown up with a father if it weren’t for that and the Korean War.

Then the thought of not having Trump as our current president came to mind. Because the potential destruction this idiot might bring about could be worse.

But I’ll stick with my first choice.

Below are some shots I took at the WWII Memorial in Washington DC. The sacrifice so many made has been forgotten too soon. We need to learn from history or we repeat it.
