I’ve worked hard this week. But not on my hobbies much. I also need to put some time behind the wheel today and tonight. Not this beauty but my go-cart. It’s one of those warm summer days and nights that I can put the top down and be very comfortable.
I’ve got a smile again on my face after listening to some music. Specifically, the song A Touch of Grey by the Grateful Dead. As they say, “We Will Get By, We Will Survive.”
And as soon as I type that the severe thunderstorm warning is beeping. So back outside to double check I’ve got everything secured. Have a good afternoon.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I believe the leaves start falling at the same time each year. But I also think that getting older makes you think it’s earlier.
- Remember the days when you could adjust your lighter to Flame Thrower level at concerts.
- Simple meals are sometimes the best. For example: burgers and dogs. Charcoal at the ready. FIRE.
- My office chair is shot, as it slowly lowers me as I type.
