It would be great to have a pet again but after losing so many over a long lifetime my better half says it’s too painful to go through again. Pets were always part of our lives. And I do miss them

If our past pets talked, I think they would say, “I love you too” or “how about some of the food you’re having” and maybe “let’s play again.”
