Riding into Tuesday evening

I took a great ride late yesterday afternoon. The sun is setting earlier and it’s getting cooler. Of course, my ride has 4 wheels now but it’s open and I don’t need a helmet. I still get to shift gears and have music.

Driving some local backroads with some of my favorite tunes and beautiful weather. Everyone was also behaving themselves for the most part.

I do miss my seat on my old cruiser. I felt more visible on that than I do in my Miata now at times. And I’m about to change that aspect also because the biker philosophy of Loud Pipes Save Lives can also be true for a car.

More seat time was had today. I have to take advantage of the last few days of summer. It’s such a beautiful day outside in the 70s and sunny. I noticed the volume of traffic starting to grow so I headed home till that rush hour mess is behind me and maybe I’ll venture back out this evening.

Then again, it might just be relaxing to sit out by the firepit.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • What to do with people who won’t help themselves.
  • Missing my grandchildren today.
  • I thank the Irish for their weekend demonstrations against Trump.
  • Comedy is a savior sometimes.
  • What has the Toddler and Chief done today?

I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
