The daily prompt asks – Which celebrity would you love to meet, and what would you talk about?
I would love to have met Robin Williams. I would love to talk about his natural gifts of humor and how he crafted it over his life. I’d like to make him laugh unexpectedly and know him as a person instead of a celebrity.
I’d be interested if he wished he had a more private life instead of the celebrity? If he ever thought about just stopping performing.
Also, his feelings on how drugs affected the comedy writing and performances. Not stories about what transpired but if he thought parts were better or worse because of it.
I’d ask who his favorite people were to work with. I’d ask what he thought were the best parts of other comics.
Comedy is an art form that is not only good for the soul, it can also save lives. I’m sure people have told him how they have been pulled out of despair or saved by making them laugh again and turn a corner the positive way. Is that a good feeling or a weight?
I’d ask if the hospital visits, he made in private to those in bad shape, were the most rewarding performances for himself personally?
I’d ask him how he liked his burgers cooked, what kind of cheese and if he wanted grilled onions.
