Nothing scares me more than going to the doctor for test results of my last cancer check. I’ve heard bad news a couple times in the past and I’ve been lucky enough to pull through both. But every 3, 6, 9 or 12 months I get tested and have been for many years now.

It terrifies me that something might have spread or a new one develops. I’m pretty good about blocking things out between test but a week or two before my appointment with the doctor, I can’t get it out of my head.
